Terms of Business

These Terms of Business apply to all services I provide, including massage therapy, yoga and pilates sessions, group classes, workshops, and multi-week courses.

By booking a session, purchasing a course, or using this website, you agree to these terms.

1. Services I Provide

I offer the following services:

1:1 Services

  • Massage therapy

  • Yoga and pilates private sessions

Group Services

  • Group yoga and pilates classes and courses

  • Group fitness classes

  • Workshops and specialist sessions

Some sessions are booked directly with me through Ovatu, while others are available through partner organisations such as Core & Co and The Lansdown Clinic.

When you book through those external providers, their booking terms and policies apply.

2. Booking Process

2.1 Direct Bookings with Me

All direct bookings for my services are made through Ovatu, my secure online booking system. Payments and card capture are handled by Stripe.

2.2 External Bookings

Where my website directs you to other businesses (such as Core & Co or The Lansdown Clinic), your booking is completed through their systems. These bookings are subject to their booking policies.

3. Payments & Deposits

3.1 Initial Consultations

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking your initial consultation. This is deducted from the total cost of your session.

3.2 All Other 1:1 Sessions

For all massage, yoga and pilates appointments after the initial consultation, you can either:

  • Pay in full at the time of booking, or

  • Store your card details securely through Stripe, where your card will not be charged unless my cancellation policy applies.

3.3 Group Classes, Workshops & Courses

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Places are limited and cannot be held without payment.

4. Card Capture Policy

For 1:1 sessions (unless paid in full), Ovatu will securely store your card details via Stripe. Your card will only be charged if a cancellation or no-show fee applies. I never see or store your card information directly.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 1:1 Appointments

  • 48+ hours’ notice: no charge

  • 24–48 hours’ notice: 50% of the appointment fee

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: full fee is charged

Deposits for initial consultations follow the same rules.

5.2 Group Classes

Drop-in classes or term-time sessions are non-refundable once booked unless the session is cancelled by me.

5.3 Courses & Programmes (e.g., 6-week courses)

  • 7+ days before start: full refund

  • 3–6 days before start: 50% refund or transfer (if space allows)

  • Less than 48 hours: non-refundable

Once a course has begun:

  • Missed sessions cannot be refunded, credited or transferred.

5.4 Workshops

Workshops are non-refundable unless cancelled by me, or unless otherwise stated.

5.5 Exceptional Circumstances

If you have a genuine emergency or significant illness, please contact me. I will always try to be fair and supportive.

6. Gift Voucher Terms

Gift vouchers:

  • Are valid for 12 months

  • Are non-refundable

  • Can be used for eligible services

  • Retain unused balance in the system for future use

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Follow the standard cancellation policy

  • Must be “claimed” via the link provided so Ovatu can track the remaining balance

  • May be transferred to another person with prior notice

7. Your Health & Wellbeing

By booking with me, you confirm that:

  1. You will share any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or pregnancies.

  2. You understand that massage, yoga and exercise involve physical activity and that you participate at your own risk.

  3. You will follow any safety instructions given during the session.

  4. You will not attend if you are unwell, contagious, or contraindicated for massage or movement.

  5. I may decline or stop a session if I believe it is unsafe to continue.

8. Professional Boundaries

I maintain a safe, respectful and professional environment at all times. Any behaviour that is inappropriate, unsafe, or breaches personal boundaries may result in the session being ended immediately, with no refund, and may also result in termination of our professional relationship.

9. Liability

I am appropriately insured and qualified to offer the services I provide. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • I am not liable for injuries caused by failure to follow instructions, undisclosed medical conditions, or misuse of the service.

  • I am not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.

  • I am not liable for cancellations, fees, or policies applied by external providers (Core & Co, The Lansdown Clinic, etc.).

10. Cancellations or Changes by Me

In some cases I may need to cancel or reschedule a session or class. If this happens, you will be offered either a full refund or a transfer to a new date.

I reserve the right to update or change these terms at any time. The most recent version will always be available on my website.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

I follow UK GDPR guidelines. Your personal data is used only for:

  • Managing bookings

  • Providing services

  • Sending confirmations and reminders

  • Meeting legal or insurance requirements

Payment information is handled solely by Stripe; I do not store card details.
