WELLNESS & YOGA WEEKEND RETREAT

Press pause on the stresses of daily life and join me for a beautiful weekend of yoga, relaxation and delicious food.

I have designed these yoga retreats for those who are just beginning their yoga journey and are ready to immerse themselves and deepen their practice. The retreats will include a variety of yoga styles, as well as meditation, relaxation and plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

THE YOGA:

Throughout the weekend, we will work through a range of yoga styles and relaxation techniques, designed to help you de-stress and build awareness and strength in body & mind.

I've created a schedule that is varied and colourful. Sessions are designed to fit with the time of day and potential energy levels; but I will ultimately allow myself to be guided by the group in front of me. You'll leave feeling like you've had a good introduction to some of my favourite styles of yoga; traditional Hatha, slow paced Yin, powerful flowing Yang/Vinyasa, Pranayama (breath work), Meditation and Yoga Nidra (powerful yogic relaxation technique).

THE LOCATION:

Stepping into Haberfield Hall is like entering a tranquil sanctuary. Although located just a short drive from Bristol, it is quiet, peaceful and feels worlds away from the city. It is the perfect place to escape from the real world and take some time out for yourself.

Whatever the weather, the house and grounds offer many beautiful spots where you can relax with a book, have a wander, take in the views or just rest your eyes! From snuggly sofas in the 2 separate living rooms, to a comfy cabana and loungers around the heated outdoor pool.

THE FOOD:

Varied, nutritionally balanced and fantastically tasty food will be included and will be vegetarian, cooked from fresh, seasonal, organic and locally sourced where possible. You wont need to worry about a thing; no cooking, no clearing and no washing up!

Breakfast and lunch will be served in a relaxed buffet-style, so you can help yourself and eat in your own time.

Food will be varied each day - for breakfast there will be a choice including homemade breads and spreads, granola, yogurt, fruit and eggs. For lunch there will be a selection of dishes such as warm & cold salads, quiche, soup, breads and a selection of our favourite Mezza style dishes.

For dinners we will sit at the dinner table to reflect on our day and enjoy some hot and homely dishes together!

FRIDAY: 
3pm onwards:
Arrive and settle in
4.30 - 6pm: Welcome & Yoga class
7pm: Dinner
9 - 9.30pm: Yoga Nidra/Relaxation

SATURDAY:
7:30 - 9am:
Pranayama (breath work) and Meditation, followed by the morning yoga class
9am: Breakfast, followed by free time
12 - 1pm: Pre lunch yoga session
1pm: Lunch
2.30 - 3.30pm: Optional post lunch silent meditation walk, followed by free time
5pm - 6pm: Pre Dinner Yin yoga
7pm: Dinner
9 - 9.30pm: Yoga Nidra/Relaxation

SUNDAY:
7:30 - 9am:
Pranayama (breath work) and Meditation, followed by the morning yoga class
9am: Breakfast, followed by free time
12 - 1pm: Pre lunch yoga session
1pm: Lunch, followed by free time
3 - 4.30pm: Yin Yoga session & post yoga snack.
4.30 - 5.30: head home

Whilst not mandatory, I would like to encourage everyone to see the weekend as an opportunity to switch off from social media and emails to enjoy a fully immersive, technology free retreat!

1 x KING WITH ENSUITE – £385pp double occupancy / £495 single occupancy

I x Double room with kingsize bed and an en suite shower room. The room faces the back of the house overlooking the pool and gardens. It’s a beautiful room which would be ideal for 2 sharing or 1 person. 

2 x KING WITH SHARED BATHROOM – £355pp double occupancy / £465 single occupancy

2 x large doubles with kingsize beds and shared bathrooms. Both rooms share a bathroom with 1 other single occupancy room (3 to a bathroom max). Ideal for 2 sharing. One room faces the back over looking the gardens and pool. The other is facing the front of the house and overlooks the garden to the front.

2 x DOUBLE WITH SHARED BATH – £435pp - single occupancy only

2 x Double rooms with kingsize beds and shared bathroom. Shared bathroom with 1 other room (max 3 sharing the bathroom) Both rooms face the back of the house with views over the gardens and pool. The shared bathroom is just a few steps down the corridor. 

1 x DORMITORY ROOM PLUS SEPARATE DOUBLE - sleeps max 4 - £325pp

At the top of the house is a large dormitory style room which overlooks the back gardens and pool. At one end of the dormitory room is a separate double room with a queen size bed and an ensuite shower room. There is 1 queen bed and 7 single beds, so plenty of room for 4 people to be comfortable. The shower room is shared for everyone sharing these 2 rooms.
